Gaetano Curreri-Alibrandi
Gaetano Curreri-Alibrandi was born in Rome, Italy where he studied at that city's Academy of Fine Arts (1954). Subsequently he obtained his Masters Degree at the Mass. College of Art in Boston (1973). From an academic figurativism, he gradually evolved to the present Pluridimensionalism through various stages of expression, aimed always at the same theme of interest: Man's millenary activities through his opus. Gaetano's first one-man show was held in Rome in 1954. It has been followed by 45 other shows in Europe, as well as the US.

In Italy he was Assistant to the General Director of Fine Arts and Antiquities. In that position he did several artistic works including various illustrations for the commemorative book
"All the Work of Michelangelo" that has been published also in the US.

Here he has taught and lectured at various colleges and art institutions and has published several articles including a study on the psychological etiology of Visual Perspective rendering in art.

Presently Gaetano spends most of his time working on his paintings.
