Juror's Overall Comments:
The show runs the gamut of traditional to individual; realist to cartoon. The common denominator is excellence. The awards, too, make note of the many forms of expression: colorfield, digital and representational and non-representational; everyone deserving of special note.
Juror: Jeanne McCartin is a sculptor and a mask maker. She is currently teaching "The Business of Art" at Sanctuary Arts in Eliot , ME. Jeanne is a modern maskmaker who has had numerous one-person and group shows throughtout New England. She covered the seacoast community arts news for two of the area's major newspapers and oversees and supervises the jurying & installation of artwork at 100 Market St. in Portsmouth, an alternative public art space.
