"Greater Latitudes North and South" Photography by Will Richard

In this show, Will features landscapes, macro and aerial images. This work from greater northern latitudes features Maine, Labrador, Newfoundland, St. Pierre and Miquelon, New Brunswick, and the Gaspe' Peninsula. From greater southern latitudes are Patagonia, Antarctica and its islands, the Falkland Islands and South Georgia Island. His work is presented as framed images of print techniques that include Ilfochromes, Fuji Crystal prints, Iris Giclees, and Rolands.
Will's recent professional work has been done for the International Appalachian Trail, The Nature Conservancy, the Certified Forest Products Council, and this summer with the Smithsonian Institution. He has received awards from the Ernst Haas Awards Competition, and from the Newburyport Art Association. He was recently included in a 160 year retrospective gallery exhibit of Maine photographers in Rockport, Maine.
Will Richard makes his home with wife Lindsay in Georgetown, Maine. He is a Field Photographer, Registered Maine Guide, and has a PhD in Geography from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada and an MA in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Will is an Adjunct Professor with the University of Southern Maine and with the University of New England. He served with the US Marine Corps in Asia and with the US Peace Corps in the Indian Ocean.
