 Chain Bridge A New England fisherman turned artist, Herbert M. Crooks began oil painting seriously in 1989, focusing his talents on East Coast landscapes. Herbert has studied under noted artists Richard Gibney of Rockport, Richard Burke Jones and Robert Scott Jackson, both of Newburyport. Herbert has been considered for inclusion in the First Edition of "Who's Who in Art, Architecture & Design". Although most of his collections are privately held, Herbert's work may be viewed on occasion at public shows. Herbert was born and resides in Newburyport Massachusetts.  Newbury Sunset |
