My father placed a camera in my hands at age 5. Intrigued beyond my wildest dreams, I proceeded to disassemble it, piece by piece, until I realized that reassembly was not an option. Fortunately, my disappointed father found it in his heart to give me another chance and furnished me with a second camera. From that point on, I have cherished my cameras as if they were my eyes.
For me, subject and style are not my principal areas of focus. My photography involves capturing a piece of our world and pulling it out of context, giving it a new life of its own. In doing so, my goals center around creating new perspective to that which isnt new offering a spotlight on that which has gone unnoticed or been taken for granted.
My photography has been shown in several art association exhibitions and has been included in many private collections. The pieces are all custom printed as well as custom framed using the finest archival quality materials available.
Through the grace and openness of those who take in my creative work, may it serve to energize, soothe, spark introspection, provoke conversation, and instill a sense of connection.
