New England landscape painter Heidi S. D. Jackson announces Spring has
arrived with an exhibit titled "Garden Portraits" at the Newburyport Art
Association at 65 Water Street, Newburyport, Massachusetts, from April 15th
to April 28th, 2004. Opening receptions will be held on Saturday, April
17th from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday April 18th from 3-5 p.m.
Jackson's paintings reveal a gardener's spirit, since she loves to both work
and paint plein aire and summon the beauty of spring. Her gardens reflect
her love of color and texture. Her paintings depict the elegance of a
blossom-filled garden in spring and capture its loveliness for appreciation
year round. She finds bringing the outdoors inside to be one of the joys of
painting garden scenes. It is a celebration of life and the renewal of
Spring. She will paint the garden of your choice and help you preserve a
special garden memory.
