Robert Motes designs and produces original furniture in steel at his Run Run Studio in Cornish, Maine, where he also has a design showroom. Each piece of furniture is individually made with careful attention to design and is finished with a unique hand applied patina. His furniture sells throughout the United States. His large outdoor stainless steel sculpture, An Imagined Place, is on view at Somerby’s Landing Sculpture Park on the Newburyport boardwalk near the Black Cow restaurant. He studied art at the Maryland Institute College of Art and the Silvermine School of Art.

Skip Motes has painted in New England for twenty years. His works interpret the landscape in a textured style with pastels and conté crayons. He has exhibited in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine has received numerous awards for his drawings and pastel paintings. He studied at the Silvermine School of Art where he twice received the Grace Shanely Award in Pastels.
