“Celebrating Color” -a fresh look at the Beauty around us

Barbara is a professional New England artist who grew up in Massachusetts and now resides in New Hampshire.  She enjoys the outdoors and spends much of her time painting a variety of subjects in Maine and other coastal areas.

She studied at Montserrat College of Art and the Manchester Institute of Art - also studying and painting with well-known artists such as R. S. Jackson, Cory Staid, Carlton Plummer, Jan Kilburn, L. Stover, Stan Moeller, and Judy Wagner.   These experiences have enabled Barbara to better express herself creatively in the medias that she enjoys working in: Pastels,  Oil paintings,  and  Watercolors.

The quality of Barbara's paintings has not gone unnoticed, receiving numerous first place and best in show awards, including the Hunkins award from the Haverhill Art Assoc.  Her work has also been recognized by the New England Watercolor Society.  Barbara's paintings can be seen in several  galleries and at Art festivals.
