OUT & ABOUT

The selected plein air paintings that I have painted over the last 5 years or so will be exhibited at Newburyport Art Association from June 25^th through the 4^th of July. Many of these paintings have been exhibited in national juried shows and some have won prizes as well. All are what I consider to be what the joy of painting is all about: experiencing the out of doors by seeing intently.

The pleasure I get from painting is due to the increased seeing ability that happens while completely focused on a subject. Colors are stronger, everything is beautiful.
