NAA Featured Artist Series
|
 The Laura Coombs Hill Gallery at the Newburyport Art Association will be the site this mid-October for an exciting exhibit called, “The Art of Travel”. The show will comprise of oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings by two professional regional painters, Debra Corbett of Melrose and Marjet Lesk of Newburyport. This show will be a visual diary of their travels in Europe and the United States. Both Debra and Marjet recently returned from a group “plein air” painting trip in the Costa Brava area of Spain. Both artists are active and award-winning members of the Newburyport Art Association as well as being affiliated with several North Shore Galleries including The Bridge Gallery and the Leslane Gallery in Rowley. Both painters have been highly collected and their work hangs in many private and several corporate collections.
