Sunrises and sunsets contain a few precious magical moments when the light is transformed into outer worldly colors. As a digital photographer I strive to capture those fleeting moments and transform them into special images. Photographing wildlife requires knowledge of their behavior and significant patience to capture them at a unique moment and setting. The challenge of creating a striking combination of wildlife and landscape in a single image is very exciting.

The images on exhibit are wildlife pictures taken mostly in Massachusetts, but also in Colorado and Wyoming. The Egrets and Herons were photographed locally along the North Shore of Boston. Imagine my surprise and excitement when I discovered a Great Blue Heron Rookery only a few miles from this gallery!

As an award winning photographer (“Best in Show” at Newburyport Art Association Annual Photo and Sculpture Show; Excellence in Photography awards at the Rockport Art Association; Popular Photography Magazine “Your Best Shot” contest winner, and others), my works are on display at the Bryan Gallery, Gloucester; Rockport Art Association, Rockport; and in galleries in Breckenridge and Frisco, Colorado. My works hang in many private collections worldwide.
