The “Women in the Wild” all paint landscapes en plein aire, or in the open air, as did the impressionist painters, and are particularly interested in depicting picturesque areas.

Visitors to the gallery are invited to meet the artists at a reception at the Newburyport Art Association - on Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
