Art of Business, 2013 Spring Session
April 28, Making the Most of Social Media (for Artists), presented by Kate Burgess Mac Intosh
Social media can feel overwhelming, complicated, and sometimes just plain silly. Used properly and thoughtfully, however, social media can become one of the strongest tools in your arsenal. Join social media strategist Kate Burgess-Mac Intosh and learn how to establish your presence on the leading social platforms. Discover the top hashtags on Twitter for Boston area artists, hear who is accessible via these platforms, build your social media vocabulary, and be prepared to make the most of these tools. Highlighting NAA and local artists, Kate will breakdown current social media usage, pinpointing strategies and suggestions for optimization of each social approach.
Both sessions are held at the NAA gallery, 1-3pm. Members $20 per workshop, non-members $25 per workshop
