NAA Education Outreach
ArtLink
ArtLink — An ongoing art enrichment program in cooperation with local school systems, ArtLink promotes the visual arts through exhibitions for children grades 1-12, artist mentoring, after-school classes, class and college scholarships, art supplies, and career information events.
ArtLink is funded by Institution for Savings Charitable Foundation, Hemphill Family Foundation, Newburyport Five Cents Savings Charitable Foundation, Provident Community Fund and NAA patrons.
As local schools continue to struggle with budget challenges they are turning to the ArtLink Program more frequently for help. Fully understanding the importance of art in a child's overall development and formative education, the NAA has worked hard to be able to provide equipment, supplies and assistance to the Amesbury, Newburyport, Pentucket Triton Regional schools, in addition to continuing to organize, fund and host the Young Budding Artist Show, the Budding Artist Show, plus offer multiple high school internships and youth art classes, and award over $7,500 in pre and college scholarships.
