High School Scholarship
|
 The Newburyport Art Association awards an annual scholarship to an outstanding Newburyport High School senior art student.Known as the Sargent/Hartson Memorial Scholarship, it was established in memory of Sam Sargent (1889-1959), founder, and Mildred Hartson (1904-1997), a founding member, of NAA. It is awarded to a senior who demonstrates outstanding accomplishment and potential in painting, drawing, mixed media, photography or sculpture and who intends to continue his or her education in college or art school. The recipient is selected by the High School faculty. |
