Art Around Town @ Metzy's Cantina
All applicants are currently under consideration and no new applications are being accepted at this time. The call will reopen in 2024.
Newburyport Art wants to create more exhibition opportunities for members by connecting with local businesses and organizations. This collaboration with Metzy’s Cantina formally kicks off the Art Around Town series for Newburyport Art artists. Metzy’s is looking for colorful, bright, and upbeat/lively artwork. Full details are available within the call.

Featured Artist Exhibitions
The application will open for the next cohort of Featured Artists in late Summer / early Fall.
Open to NAA Artists (working in any media) who have been members for at least one full year, a Featured Artist Exhibition is a highly coveted two-week exhibition in the Hills Gallery.
This opportunity is now closed. If you submitted for this opportunity, it is currently under review, and all applying artists will be notified of the outcome as soon as possible.

Artist Member Spotlights
Deadline Rolling
A new initiative by the NAA, Artist Member Spotlights will feature a single artist with a short run in the “Mural Gallery” that connects the Sargent and Hartson Galleries. This opportunity is open to all NAA Artist Members of any age or background. Spotlights are expected to last approximately two weeks each, and the space can be curated how the artist sees fit.
